Welcome to Hello Ireland

Hello Ireland is a residential Summer programme of English and Activities for teenagers,which runs in Waterford in the South East region of Ireland. It is run by a partnership of Waterford Academy of Education www.wae.ie and Waterford Institute of Technology www.wit.ie. This combines a high quality English program and all the resources of a large college in terms of first class facilities, accommodation, sports and recreation. Waterford is a registered examination centre for Trinity College London and students have the option of sitting their graded examinations in spoken English. This programme has been running since 2009 and has an excellent reputation for quality and value for money.

Our priorities are the provision of:

• the creation of a warm and welcoming learning environment,
• the comfort, welfare, care and safety of participants
• the quality of teaching for formal English learning
• the quality of the activities programme for informal learning, enjoyment and recreation.
